Brooksy + Bell Digital Fine Art Studio is a creative partnership founded by Kathryn Brooks and Sheldon Bell, bringing together two distinct yet complementary artistic sensibilities to explore the frontiers of digital art creation.
Kathryn Brooks is a painter, digital artist, and writer whose work is rooted in storytelling, emotional depth, and a lifelong engagement with visual and literary expression. Her creative practice is informed by narrative, mood, and the nuanced interplay between memory and imagination, lending timeless, human resonance to the studio’s artistic direction.
Sheldon Bell brings decades of experience as a photographer and visual artist, with a practiced eye for composition, light, and emotional impact honed through years behind the camera. His understanding of visual storytelling and technical precision guides the studio’s aesthetic choices and creative direction.
Our Creative Process
At Brooksy + Bell, we work at the intersection of human creativity and artificial intelligence. Each piece begins with our artistic vision—a concept, mood, or narrative we want to explore. We then collaborate with AI tools as our medium, much as photographers use cameras or painters use brushes. The AI responds to our direction, but the creative decisions—composition, color palette, emotional tone, which iterations succeed and which fall short—are entirely ours.
This process allows us to create works that would be impossible through traditional means alone, while maintaining the human judgment, curation, and artistic sensibility that define fine art. We’re transparent about our methods because we believe this approach represents an exciting evolution in art-making, not a replacement for artistic vision.
